Nice Facebook debate:
J: Well I mean if you give him credit for that then you had better give him credit for how terribly slow and pathetic the job market has moved under his presidency. I’d be happier if we were coupling this with 400,000 new jobs a month, but whatever… it’s good news.
E: Considering the economy was shedding 700,000 jobs per month leading into his term, I’d say 22 straight months of private sector job growth is pretty fucking good. I guess that’s where the divide is. Like, I understand how republicans are pissed that the economy isn’t growing as fast as anyone would like. But it’s growing. And the last time they were in charge of the executive branch, it wasn’t growing. At all.

Moonrise Kingdom trailer
“We interrupt this internet to bring you the very first trailer for Wes Anderson’s new movie, Moonrise Kingdom.”
Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, MOONRISE KINGDOM tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore — and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle.
